Join us this school holidays for a free Dancing Story Workshop presented by The Australian Ballet.

Explore the story of Wonderland, an adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. Join us for an adventure into Wonderland through dance, music, costumes, characters, and a tea party… or two! This session is suitable for ages 3-5, and parents are required to stay.

Dancing Story provides children with an unforgettable dance and literacy experience and is led by a member of The Australian Ballet’s Education & Outreach team. The workshop promotes kinetic skill development, working with others, sequencing and literacy, and gives children the unique opportunity to explore ballet stories through dance. Children will have the chance to take part in storytelling, creative games, choreographic, and performance-based learning, and see costumes from The Australian Ballet.

This workshop is designed to be accessible to all children between ages 3-5 regardless of learning styles or physical abilities. No previous dance experience is required.
