These sessions are dedicated to developing skills in composition and perspective, creating the illusion of 3-dimensional form on a 2-dimensional flat surface. In this class we explore how different viewpoints affect linear perspective and horizon position while using vanishing lines to creative depth and perspective. We will be inspired by a range of artists and subject matter incorporating these rules of perspective, taking inspiration from the Renaissance, as well as contemporary Australian artists, such as Jeffrey Smart.

Tuesdays | 1pm – 3.30pm, 4, 11, 25 Feb & 4 Mar

$260 includes all tuition, materials, and afternoon tea.
