The NSW Seniors Festival is the largest festival for seniors in the Southern Hemisphere, providing hundreds of activities & events each year.
The 2025 NSW Seniors Festival will run from the 3rd of March until the 7th of March and is proudly funded by the NSW Government in association with Goulburn Mulwaree Council, the NSW Government – Department of Community & Justice and Goulburn Workers.
MONDAY March 3rd
11am – 1pm – Official Opening 2025 NSW Seniors Festival – ‘Time to Shine’ and Active Aging Expo
Goulburn Mulwaree Council in partnership with Goulburn Workers presents the Opening Ceremony of Seniors Festival 2025. The ceremony will include a guest speaker address and presentation of the 2025 Senior of the Year and Community Group of the Year awards.
Includes: light refreshments to follow and the Active Aging Expo.
Cost: FREE.
Venue: Goulburn Workers Auditorium.

TUESDAY March 4th
11.00am (Doors open) Show starts 11.30am – Seniors Luncheon & Baby Boomers Show
Join us at Goulburn Workers for a delicious 2 course lunch and fun filled show. The Baby Boomers Show includes live comedy as well as a Music Legends Tribute Show. It will be an event not to be missed!
Cost: Free (Bookings Essential) – Tickets available from Goulburn Workers at Reception from the 21st of January (limit of 2 per person) and include both the show and lunch.

6.00am – Aquatic & Leisure Centre Free Entry & Activities
Join us at the Goulburn Aquatic & Leisure Centre for a special Seniors Day. There’ll besomething for everyone. Come along & enjoy:
Free entry all day for Seniors
Free 9am Aqua Aerobics class with morning tea to follow
Free 1-2pm Seniors ‘Splash & Swim’ session. Have great fun and build confidence asqualified swim instructors lead you through basic swimming skills.

THURSDAY March 6th
11am – 2pm – ‘Dying to Know’ Information Expo
Do you have end-of-life questions or just want to know more about being better prepared? Come along and connect with local businesses and speak to those in the know. This will be a great opportunity to talk with a Funeral Director, Solicitor, Palliative Care workers and others in the field.
It won’t all be doom and gloom so come along and have a chat!
Includes: light refreshments to follow.

FRIDAY March 7th
11am – 3pm – Royal Australian Navy Band Performance.
Celebrate Seniors Week with a spectacular free concert. This special event showcases two of the RAN’s premier ensembles in a musical experience that promises to be unforgettable. Together, the RAN Sydney Wind Band &RAN Sydney Big Band, accompanied by exceptional vocalists, will present a truly dynamic show.With a century-long tradition, the RAN Band will bring an extraordinary celebration of remarkable talent and cherished music to Seniors Week. Don’t miss this chance to enjoy a morning like no other.
